Functionality to create pretty word clouds, visualize differences and similarity between documents, and avoid over-plotting in scatter plots with text.
Accesses high resolution raster maps using the OpenStreetMap protocol. Dozens of road, satellite, and topographic map servers are directly supported, including Apple, Mapnik, Bing, and stamen. Additionally raster maps may be constructed using custom tile servers. Maps can be plotted using either base graphics, or ggplot2. This package is not affiliated with the OpenStreetMap.org mapping project.
An intuitive, cross-platform graphical data analysis system. It uses menus and dialogs to guide the user efficiently through the data manipulation and analysis process, and has an excel like spreadsheet for easy data frame visualization and editing. Deducer works best when used with the Java based R GUI JGR, but the dialogs can be called from the command line. Dialogs have also been integrated into the Windows Rgui.
A Deducer plug-in for spatial data analysis. Includes The ability to plot and explore open street map and Bing satellite images.
Provides tools for passing messages between R processes. Shiny Examples are provided showing how to perform useful tasks such as: updating reactive values from within a future, progress bars for long running async tasks, and interrupting async tasks based on user input.
Implements user interfaces for log-linear models, Bayesian model averaging and Bayesian Dirichlet process mixture models.
Added functionality for Deducer. This package includes additional dialogs for calculating distribution function values, cluster analysis and more.
Collection of custom input controls and user interface components for 'Shiny' applications. Give your applications a unique and colorful style !
A fast, flexible, and comprehensive framework for quantitative text analysis in R. Provides functionality for corpus management, creating and manipulating tokens and ngrams, exploring keywords in context, forming and manipulating sparse matrices of documents by features and feature co-occurrences, analyzing keywords, computing feature similarities and distances, applying content dictionaries, applying supervised and unsupervised machine learning, visually representing text and text analyses, and more.
Create and integrate maps in your R workflow. This package helps to design cartographic representations such as proportional symbols, choropleth, typology, flows or discontinuities maps. It also offers several features that improve the graphic presentation of maps, for instance, map palettes, layout elements (scale, north arrow, title...), labels or legends. See Giraud and Lambert (2017) <doi:10.1007/978-3-319-57336-6_13>.
Java GUI for R - cross-platform, universal and unified Graphical User Interface for R. For full functionality on Windows and Mac OS X JGR requires a start application which depends on your OS.
This queue is a data structure that lets parallel processes send and receive messages, and it can help coordinate the work of complicated parallel tasks. Processes can push new messages to the queue, pop old messages, and obtain a log of all the messages ever pushed. File locking preserves the integrity of the data even when multiple processes access the queue simultaneously.
Plotting functions for visualising textual data. Extends 'quanteda' and related packages with plot methods designed specifically for text data, textual statistics, and models fit to textual data. Plot types include word clouds, lexical dispersion plots, scaling plots, network visualisations, and word 'keyness' plots.
Provides functionality for carrying out estimation with data collected using Respondent-Driven Sampling. This includes Heckathorn's RDS-I and RDS-II estimators as well as Gile's Sequential Sampling estimator. The package is part of the "RDS Analyst" suite of packages for the analysis of respondent-driven sampling data. See Gile and Handcock (2010) <doi:10.1111/j.1467-9531.2010.01223.x> and Gile and Handcock (2015) <doi:10.1111/rssa.12091>.
A Deducer plug-in for factor analysis, reliability analysis and discriminant analysis, using psych, GPArotation and mvnormtest packages.
A collection of functions that allows users to retrieve metadata for the Fragile Families challenge via a Web API (<http://api.metadata.fragilefamilies.princeton.edu>). Users can select and search metadata for relevant variables by filtering on different attribute names.
