Gets the metrics of a string. WARNING: gdk_text_extents is deprecated and should not be used in newly-written code.

Arguments

[GdkFont] a GdkFont

Value

• A list containing the following elements:
• lbearing
  [integer] the left bearing of the string.
• rbearing
  [integer] the right bearing of the string.
• width
  [integer] the width of the string.
• ascent
  [integer] the ascent of the string.
• descent
  [integer] the descent of the string.
