a markup string (see Pango markup format) or <code>NULL</code>. <em>[  <acronym>allow-none</acronym>  ]</em>

<code>markup</code>

Sets the text of the tooltip to be <code>markup</code>, which is marked up
with the Pango text markup language.
If <code>markup</code> is <code>NULL</code>, the label will be hidden.
