This function is meant primarily for <code>GObjects</code> that inherit from 
<code><a rd-options="" href="/link/GtkTreeStore?package=RGtk2&version=2.20.31" data-mini-rdoc="RGtk2::GtkTreeStore">GtkTreeStore</a></code>, and should only be used when constructing a new 
<code><a rd-options="" href="/link/GtkTreeStore?package=RGtk2&version=2.20.31" data-mini-rdoc="RGtk2::GtkTreeStore">GtkTreeStore</a></code>.  It will not function after a row has been added, 
or a method on the <code><a rd-options="" href="/link/GtkTreeModel?package=RGtk2&version=2.20.31" data-mini-rdoc="RGtk2::GtkTreeModel">GtkTreeModel</a></code> interface is called.
