printStrToChar function

<dl><dt>x</dt>
<dd>[any] 
Object to print</dd>
<dt>collapse</dt>
<dd>[<code>character(1)</code>] 
Used to collapse multiple lines.
<code>NULL</code> means no collapsing, vector is returned.
Default is &#8220;\n&#8221;.</dd></dl>
