The possible values of <code>ties</code> are:<ul>
<li><code>binary</code> or <code>1</code> for binary ties;</li>
<li><code>weighted</code>, <code>valued</code>, or <code>2</code> to weight the tie between company \(i\) and the person \(j\) as the value of \(j\)'s share of \(i\)'s capital;</li>
<li><code>share</code> or <code>3</code> (the default) to weight the tie between company \(i\) and the person \(j\) as the share of \(i\)'s capital owned by \(j\).</li>
