A small, synthetic data set for distribution modeling, consisting of
occurrence and environmental data, from Halvorsen (2013). The study area
consists of 40 grid cells, with 8 row and 5 columns, in which 10 presences
occur.

datasets

Tools for training, selecting, and evaluating maximum entropy
(Maxent) distribution models. This package provides tools for user-
controlled transformation of explanatory variables, selection of variables
by nested model comparison,  and flexible model evaluation and projection.
It is based on the strict maximum likelihood interpretation of maximum
entropy modelling.
