STAS

This dataset contains the scores of the Trait Anger scale of the STAS. The test participants were \(316\) first-year psychology students from a university in the Dutch speaking part of Belgium. Participation was a partial fulfillment of the requirement to participate in research. The sample consists of \(73\) males and \(243\) females, reflecting the gender proportion among psychology students. The average age was \(18.4\) years. The data originally come from the package <code>psychotools</code>, dataset <code>VerbalAgression</code>. Normative data are often used to estimate the relative position of a raw test score in the population. This package allows for deriving regression-based normative data. It includes functions that enable the fitting of regression models for the mean and residual (or variance) structures, test the model assumptions, derive the normative data in the form of normative tables or automatic scoring sheets, and estimate confidence intervals for the norms.
