par.set

<code>list()</code> List of parameter settings.

par.vals

<code>character()</code> <code>id</code>s of the param.vals to check. Default is <code>names(par.vals)</code>.

<code>logical()</code> Some requirements relay on default values of the <code>par.set</code>. Default is <code>TRUE</code>, which means that if the value is not present in <code>par.vals</code> the default value will be considered.

use.defaults

Check if a parameter value satisfies the requirements of the
parameter description. This only checks the <code>requires</code> expressions.

Functions for parameter descriptions and operations in black-box
optimization, tuning and machine learning. Parameters can be described
(type, constraints, defaults, etc.), combined to parameter sets and can in
general be programmed on. A useful OptPath object (archive) to log function
evaluations is also provided.

isRequiresOk: Check if parameter requirements are met.
