jitter.lab: Jitter a set of labels

Description

Jitter a set of labels so they do not overlap

Usage

jitter.lab(x, w)

Arguments

x

X-positions

w

widths of the labels

Value

vector of integer shifts.

Details

New label positions are computed such that they do not overlap. They are shifted up or down. Works only on horizontal labels.
