sst_NW_Atl


A dataset containing the sea surface temperature (in degrees Celsius) and
date for the Northwest Atlantic region from 1982-01-01 to 2014-12-31.


datasets

Given a time series of daily temperatures, the package provides tools
to detect extreme thermal events, including marine heat waves, and to
calculate the exceedences above or below specified threshold values.
It outputs the properties of all detected events and exceedences.
