It uses rejection sampling to obtain samples from the distribution of the random effects given the data. This is used when a model with bivariate normal random effects is fitted.

Routine for fitting bivariate probit models with semiparametric predictors (including linear, nonlinear and random effects) in the presence of correlated error equations, endogeneity or sample selection. Bivariate copula models are also supported.
