A new class for sparse matrices stored in coordinate format

Some basic linear algebra functionality for sparse matrices is
provided:  including Cholesky decomposition and backsolving as well as
standard R subsetting and Kronecker products.

Objects can be created by calls of the form <code>new("matrix.coo", ...)</code>.
