CharacterInformation

<code>CharacterInformation()</code> calculates the cladistic information content
Steel2006TreeTools of a given character, in bits.
The total information in all characters gives a measure of the potential
utility of a dataset Cotton2008TreeTools, which can be
compared with a profile parsimony score Faith2001TreeTools to
evaluate the degree of homoplasy within a dataset.

Efficient implementations of functions for the creation,
modification and analysis of phylogenetic trees.
Applications include:
generation of trees with specified shapes;
tree rearrangement;
analysis of tree shape;
rooting of trees and extraction of subtrees;
calculation and depiction of split support;
plotting the position of rogue taxa (Klopfstein & Spasojevic 2019)
