A 'shiny' Application for the (Audio-)Visualization of Adverse Event Profiles

Description

Contains a 'shiny' application called AdEPro (Animation of Adverse Event Profiles) which (audio-)visualizes adverse events occurring in clinical trials. As this data is usually considered sensitive, this tool is provided as a stand-alone application that can be launched from any local machine on which the data is stored.

Example data set with simulated subject level information

tone - Function that plays two different sounds for AEs

prepare_data - read SAS or CSV raw data and prepare the data sets

pie_legend - Function to create legend for displayed adverse events

order_patient - Arranges patients by sequencing technique

set_group_lines

set_group_lines - determines coordinates for the separating lines

set_global_params

set_global_params - sets all global parameters

preproc_patients

preproc_patients - Preprocessing Patient Data

preproc_ae - Preprocessing adverse event data

set_vector_layout

set_vector_layout - creates vector layout

set_width - calculates width (number of columns with circles)

check_data - Consistency checks on the data

adeproLogo Function that creates a div container for the AdEPro Logo

launch_adepro - Launches the AdEPro application

initQ - generates classification matrix

count_event Count the event number for every AE at spefified timepoint

ae_count - provides adverse event count dataset

bar_chart - creates barchart of AEs for all patient
