\n\n\n\n[![CRAN\nstatus](https://www.r-pkg.org/badges/version/airports)](https://CRAN.R-project.org/package=airports)\n[![R build\nstatus](https://github.com/OpenIntroStat/airports/workflows/R-CMD-check/badge.svg)](https://github.com/OpenIntroStat/airports/actions)\n\n\nThis package contains geographic, use, and property related data on\nairports.\n\n## Installation\n\nYou can install the package from [CRAN](https://CRAN.R-project.org)\nwith:\n\n``` r\ninstall.packages(\"airports\")\n```\n\nAdditionally, you can install the development version of airports from\nGitHub with:\n\n``` r\n#install.packages(\"devtools\")\nlibrary(devtools)\ninstall_github(\"OpenIntroStat/airports\")\n```\n\n## Usage\n\nThe datasets from this package can be used in a teaching context for\ndata visualization and data manipulation exercises.\n\n## airports and openintro\n\nThe datasets from this package are used in\n[OpenIntro](https://www.openintro.org/) textbooks and other resources.\nThese datasets originally lived in the\n[**openintro**](http://openintrostat.github.io/openintro/) package, up\nuntil openintro 2.0.0. The motivation for extracting these datasets out\nof the openintro package was to create a new package where we can\ncontinue to add more data on airports from all over the world. For those\nlooking for a seamless experience with OpenIntro resources, note that\nthe contents of this package will be loaded along with the openintro\npackage as well, so that you can run `library(openintro)` and use the\ndatasets from airports.\n\n## Questions, bugs, feature requests\n\nYou can file an issue to get help, report a bug, or make a feature\nrequest.\n\nWhen filing an issue to get help or report a bug, please make a minimal\n**repr**oducible **ex**ample using the\n[reprex](https://reprex.tidyverse.org/) package.
