map.names.map.frame

An object that has marker names in it. Methods for objects
    of the 
    <code>map.frame</code>, <code>analysis.object</code>,<code>bqtl</code>, and
    <code>bqtl.list</code> class.

For <code>class(x)=="analysis.object"</code> or
    <code>class(x)=="map.frame"</code>, arguments <code>chromo</code> and <code>cM</code>
    can be used as in <code>map.index</code>

This is  a generic helper function with methods  that will
  return the names of markers or loci.
