##### Compute the area under an ROC curve

This function uses the trapezoidal rule to calculate the area. If the area is less than .5, then 1 - area is used. (DEPRECATED)

This function is deprecated a of 1/3/12. The computations now utilize the pROC package. This function will be removed in a few releases.
