hydro_imgw_daily

Downloading daily hydrological data from the danepubliczne.imgw.pl collection

Automatize downloading of meteorological and hydrological data from publicly available repositories:
OGIMET (<http://ogimet.com/index.phtml.en>),
University of Wyoming - atmospheric vertical profiling data (<http://weather.uwyo.edu/upperair/>),
Polish Institute of Meteorology and Water Management - National Research Institute (<https://danepubliczne.imgw.pl>),
and National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
This package also allows for searching geographical coordinates for each observation and calculate distances to the nearest stations.

hydro_imgw_daily function

<dl><dt>year</dt>
<dd>vector of years (e.g., 1966:2000)</dd>
<dt>station</dt>
<dd>name or ID of hydrological station(s).
It accepts names (characters in CAPITAL LETTERS) or stations' IDs (numeric)</dd>
<dt>allow_failure</dt>
<dd>logical - whether to proceed or stop on failure. By default set to TRUE (i.e. don't stop on error). For debugging purposes change to FALSE</dd>
<dt>...</dt>
<dd>other parameters that may be passed to the 'shortening' function that shortens column names</dd></dl>
