panel_border

This function provides a simple way to modify the panel border in ggplot2. It
doesn't do anything that can't be done just the same with <code><a href="https://ggplot2.tidyverse.org/reference/theme.html">ggplot2::theme()</a></code>. However, it
saves some typing.

Provides various features that help with creating publication-quality figures
with 'ggplot2', such as a set of themes, functions to align plots and arrange
them into complex compound figures, and functions that make it easy to annotate
plots and or mix plots with images. The package was originally written for
internal use in the Wilke lab, hence the name (Claus O. Wilke's plot package).
It has also been used extensively in the book Fundamentals of Data
Visualization.

panel_border function

<dl><dt>color, colour</dt>
<dd>The color of the border.</dd>
<dt>size</dt>
<dd>Size. Needs to be twice as large as desired outcome when panel clipping
is on (the default).</dd>
<dt>linetype</dt>
<dd>Line type.</dd>
<dt>remove</dt>
<dd>If <code>TRUE</code>, removes the current panel border.</dd></dl>
