Graphical display of the general simulation summary.
This plot method can be applied to <code>GeneralSimulationsSummary</code> objects in
order to summarize them graphically. Possible <code>type</code>s of plots at the moment
are:<dl>
<dt>nObs</dt>
<dd>Distribution of the number of patients in the simulated trials</dd><dt>doseSelected</dt>
<dd>Distribution of the final selected doses in the trials.
Note that this can include zero entries, meaning that the trial was
stopped because all doses in the dose grid appeared too toxic.</dd><dt>propDLTs</dt>
<dd>Distribution of the proportion of patients with DLTs in the
trials</dd><dt>nAboveTarget</dt>
<dd>Distribution of the number of patients treated at doses
which are above the target toxicity interval (as specified by the
<code>truth</code> and <code>target</code> arguments to <code>summary,GeneralSimulations-method</code>)</dd>
</dl>You can specify any subset of these in the <code>type</code> argument.

Implements a wide range of dose escalation
designs. The focus is on model-based designs, ranging from classical and
modern continual reassessment methods (CRMs) based on dose-limiting toxicity
endpoints to dual-endpoint designs taking into account a biomarker/efficacy
outcome. Bayesian inference is performed via MCMC sampling in JAGS, and it is easy
to setup a new design with custom JAGS code. However, it is also possible to
implement 3+3 designs for comparison or models with non-Bayesian estimation.
The whole package is written in a modular form in the S4 class system, making it
very flexible for adaptation to new models, escalation or stopping rules.
