cyl_quadsec-class

This class contains bivariate circular-linear copulas with quadratic sections
in the linear dimension. They are periodic in the circular dimension, \(u\),
and symmetric with respect to \(u=0.5\). Therefore,
they can capture correlation in data where there is symmetry between positive
and negative angles. These copulas are described by one parameter, <code>a</code>.

Classes (S4) of circular-linear, symmetric copulas with corresponding
methods, extending the 'copula' package. These copulas are especially useful
for modeling correlation in discrete-time movement data. Methods for density,
(conditional) distribution, random number generation, bivariate dependence
measures and fitting parameters using maximum likelihood and other
approaches. The package also contains methods for visualizing movement data
and copulas.
