From distr v2.6
by Peter Ruckdeschel

##### Class "NormParameter"

The parameter of a normal distribution, used by Norm-class

- Keywords
- distribution

##### Objects from the Class

Objects can be created by calls of the form `new("NormParameter", sd, mean)`

.
Usually an object of this class is not needed on its own. It is the
mother-class of the class UniNormParameter, which is generated
automatically when such a distribution is instantiated.

##### Slots

`sd`

- Object of class
`"numeric"`

: the sd of a normal distribution `mean`

- Object of class
`"numeric"`

: the mean of a normal distribution `name`

- Object of class
`"character"`

: a name / comment for the parameters

##### Extends

Class `"Parameter"`

, directly.

##### Methods

- initialize
`signature(.Object = "NormParameter")`

: initialize method- mean
`signature(object = "NormParameter")`

: returns the slot mean of the parameter of the distribution- mean<-
`signature(object = "NormParameter")`

: modifies the slot mean of the parameter of the distribution- sd
`signature(object = "NormParameter")`

: returns the slot sd of the parameter of the distribution- sd<-
`signature(object = "NormParameter")`

: modifies the slot sd of the parameter of the distribution

##### Examples

```
W <- new("NormParameter", mean = 0, sd = 1)
sd(W) # sd of this distribution is 1.
