When a project is created with make()
or drake_config()
, the project's pseudo-random number generator
seed is cached. Then, unless the cache is destroyed,
the seeds of all the targets will deterministically depend on
this one central seed. That way, reproducibility is protected,
even under randomness.
read_drake_seed(path = NULL, search = NULL, cache = NULL,
verbose = 1L)
Path to a drake
cache
(usually a hidden .drake/
folder) or NULL
.
Deprecated.
drake cache. See new_cache()
.
If supplied, path
is ignored.
Integer, control printing to the console/terminal.
0
: print nothing.
1
: print targets, retries, and failures.
2
: also show a spinner when preprocessing tasks are underway.
An integer vector.
