KBneat

This dataset contains scores for two forms of a 36-item test administered under a nonequivalent groups with anchor test design. The anchor test is internal and consists of twelve items taken by both groups of examinees. The data is distributed as part of the equating software CIPE (see link below), and additional examples using this dataset are presented in <em>Test Equating, Scaling, and Linking</em> (Kolen and Brennan, 2004).

The equate package contains functions for non-IRT equating
        under both random groups and nonequivalent groups with anchor
        test designs. Mean, linear, equipercentile and circle-arc
        equating are supported, as are methods for univariate and
        bivariate presmoothing of score distributions. Specific
        equating methods currently supported include synthetic, nominal
        weights, Tucker, Levine observed score, Levine true score,
        Braun/Holland, frequency estimation, and chained equating.
