read.DICOM: I/O function

Description

Read DICOM file.

Usage

read.DICOM(filename,includedata = TRUE)

Arguments

filename

name of the file

includedata

logical. should data be read too? defaults to TRUE.

Value

Object with the following list entries:

header

header information as raw data

ttt

image data if requested. raw vector (numeric size 4) containing the four dimensional data cube (the first three dimensions are voxel dimensions, the fourth dimension denotes the time).

format

data source. string "DICOM"

delta

voxel size in mm

series

series identifier

image

image number within series

dim

dimension of the data if available

Details

The function reads a DICOM file.
