Recursive partitioning based on (generalized) linear mixed models
(GLMMs) combining lmer()/glmer() from 'lme4' and lmtree()/glmtree() from
'partykit'. The fitting algorithm is described in more detail in Fokkema,
Smits, Zeileis, Hothorn & Kelderman (2018; ).
