info_locales

Many of the <code>fmt_*()</code> functions have a <code>locale</code> argument that makes
locale-based formatting easier. The table generated by the <code>info_locales()</code>
function provides a quick reference to all the available locales. The locale
identifiers are provided (base locale ID, common display name) along with the
each locale's group and decimal separator marks. A formatted numeric example
is provided (based on the value of <code>11027</code>) to demonstrate the default
formatting of each locale.

Build display tables from tabular data with an easy-to-use set of
functions. With its progressive approach, we can construct display tables
with a cohesive set of table parts. Table values can be formatted using any
of the included formatting functions. Footnotes and cell styles can be
precisely added through a location targeting system. The way in which 'gt'
handles things for you means that you don't often have to worry about the
fine details.
