runServer

A string that is a valid IPv4 address that is
  owned by this server, or <code>"0.0.0.0"</code> to listen on
  all IP addresses.

host

A number or integer that indicates the server
  port that should be listened on. Note that on most
  Unix-like systems including Linux and Mac OS X, port
  numbers smaller than 1025 require root privileges.

port

A collection of functions that define your
  application. See Details.

How often to check for
  interrupt. The default should be appropriate for most
  situations.

interruptIntervalMs

This is a convenience function that provides a simple way
  to call <code><a href="/link/startServer?package=httpuv&version=1.0.6.3" rd-options="" data-mini-rdoc="httpuv::startServer">startServer</a></code>, <code><a href="/link/service?package=httpuv&version=1.0.6.3" rd-options="" data-mini-rdoc="httpuv::service">service</a></code>,
  and <code><a href="/link/stopServer?package=httpuv&version=1.0.6.3" rd-options="" data-mini-rdoc="httpuv::stopServer">stopServer</a></code> in the correct sequence. It
  does not return unless interrupted or an error occurs.

httpuv provides low-level socket and protocol support for
        handling HTTP and WebSocket requests directly from within R. It
        is primarily intended as a building block for other packages,
        rather than making it particularly easy to create complete web
        applications using httpuv alone. httpuv is built on top of the
        libuv and http-parser C libraries, both of which were developed
        by Joyent, Inc. (See LICENSE file for libuv and http-parser
        license information.)
