The particle naming system in libamtrack works as follows: a
particle is identified by a character string consisting of the mass number A
and the abbreviation of the element (identifying the atomic number Z).Details
- For a proton
particle.name is '1H'.
- For deuterium
particle.name is '2H'.
- For He-4
particle.name is '4He'.
- For C-12
particle.name is '12C'.
- For a U-238
particle.name is '238U'.
