This is just a convenience wrapper to <code><a rd-options="" href="/link/checkUsagePackage?package=packager&version=1.9.0" data-mini-rdoc="packager::checkUsagePackage">checkUsagePackage</a></code> (which
needs loading of the [development version of the] package).

maintenance. Designed to work with a build system such as 'GNU make' or
