in the Amazon EventBridge User Guide.</dd>
<dt>Event</dt>
<dd>[required] The event, in JSON format, to test against the event pattern. The JSON
must follow the format specified in <a href="https://docs.aws.amazon.com/eventbridge/latest/userguide/eb-events.html">Amazon Web Services Events</a>,
and the following fields are mandatory:<ul>
