<code>get_statistics</code> returns chi-squared distributed statistics.

<dl><dt>zscores</dt>
<dd>a numeric matrix containing the z-scores.</dd>

the p-values. Two statistics are currently available, <code>"mahalanobis"</code>,
and <code>"componentwise"</code>.</dd>
