Distributions of species of herbs in relation to elevation on quartz
  diorite in the central Siskiyou Mountains. All values are per mille
  frequencies
  in transects (The number of 1 m2 quadrats, among 1000 such quadrats,
  in which a species was observed, based on 1250 1m2 quadrats in the
  first 5  transects, and 400 1m2 quadrats in 6. transect). Observed
  presences in the transect, outside the sampling plots, were coded as
  0.2. Rows correspond to species, columns correspond to regions.

datasets

Distance-based parametric bootstrap tests for clustering, 
  mainly intended for presence-absence data and abundance data 
  (clustering of species
  distribution ranges). Jaccard, Kulczynski, quantitative Kulczynski 
  and geco distance measures, 
  clustering of presence-absence and abundance data, and nearest neighbor 
  based noise detection (R port of Byers
  and Raftery's (1998) "NNclean"). Main functions are prabtest, abundtest (for
  testing), prabclust (for clustering), prabinit (for preparing the data)
  and NNclean (for noise detection). The help-pages for prabtest, abundtest and
  prabclust contain simple standard executions. Note that the use of the 
  package mclust (called by function prabclust) is protected by a special 
  license, see http://www.stat.washington.edu/mclust/license.txt, particularly
  point 6.

Three objects are generated:
  <item>siskiyou</item>{numeric matrix giving the 144*6 abundance values.}
  <item>siskiyou.nb</item>{neighborhood list for the 6 regions.}
  <item>siskiyou.groups</item>{integer vector of length 144, giving group
    memberships for the 144 species.}
