chr_lengths

Calculate chromosome lengths for a map object

Provides a set of tools to perform quantitative
trait locus (QTL) analysis in experimental crosses. It is a
reimplementation of the 'R/qtl' package to better handle
high-dimensional data and complex cross designs.

<dl><dt>map</dt>
<dd>A list of vectors, each specifying locations of the markers.
Can also be a cross2 object, in which case the genetic map (if present) is used.</dd>
<dt>collapse_to_AX</dt>
<dd>If TRUE, collapse to the total lengths of the
autosomes and X chromosome.</dd></dl>
