pp.lfr: Probability versus Probability (PP) plot for the linear failure rate(LFR) distribution

Description

The function pp.lfr() produces a PP plot for the linear failure rate(LFR) based on their MLE or any other estimate. Also, a reference line can be sketched.

Usage

pp.lfr(x, alpha.est, beta.est, main = " ", line = FALSE, ...)

Value

The function pp.lfr() carries out a PP plot for the linear failure rate(LFR).

Arguments

x

vector of observations

alpha.est

estimate of the parameter alpha

beta.est

estimate of the parameter beta

main

the title for the plot.

line

logical; if TRUE, a 45 degree line is sketched.

...

additional arguments to be passed to the underlying plot function.
