A subclass of "<code><a href="/link/?package=sampSurf&version=0.7-6" arealsampling'="" data-mini-rdoc="sampSurf::"></a>'>ArealSampling</code>" that can be used to
create objects that encapsulate all the parameters necessary for any
variant of distance limited sampling of down woody debris.

classes

Sampling surface simulation is useful in the comparison of different areal sampling methods
in forestry, ecology and natural resources. The sampSurf package allows the simulation
of numerous sampling methods for standing trees and downed woody debris in a spatial context.
It also provides an S4 class and method structure that facilitates the addition of new sampling
methods.

distanceLimited-class function

Objects can be created by calls of the
form <code>new("distanceLimited", ...)</code>, and while this is reasonable
with this class because there are no graphical slots, it is still not
recommended. The preferred method for creating new objects is via the
<code><a rd-options="" href="/link/distanceLimited?package=sampSurf&version=0.7-6" data-mini-rdoc="sampSurf::distanceLimited">distanceLimited</a></code> constructor.

 <dt><code>distanceLimit</code>:</dt><dd>Object of class <code>"numeric"</code>: This
 is simply the distance limit in either feet or meters, depending upon
 the <code>units</code> chosen.</dd>
