Description

Allows the user to connect with the World Spider Catalogue (WSC; ) and the World Spider Trait (WST; ) databases. Also performs several basic functions such as checking names validity, retrieving coordinate data from the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF; ), and mapping.
