str_extract

Dependency-free drop-in alternative for <code><a href="https://stringr.tidyverse.org/reference/str_extract.html">stringr::str_extract()</a></code>.

Provides drop-in replacements for functions from the
'stringr' package, with the same user interface. These functions have
no external dependencies and can be copied directly into your package
code using the 'staticimports' package.

Either a character vector, or something coercible to one.</dd>

<dd>Pattern to look for.
The default interpretation is a regular expression,

Match a fixed string (i.e. by comparing only bytes), using <code>fixed()</code>.
