Likert

This dataset contains fabricated data for a single survey item measured on a Likert scale. It is given that a survey was administered to 30 individuals and included an item measuring assertiveness by having the individual indicate agreement with the statement: &lt;U+201C&gt;I have the ability to stand up for my own rights without denying the rights of others.&lt;U+201D&gt; The response options were: 1 = "strongly agree"; 2 = "agree"; 3 = "neutral"; 4 = "disagree"; 5 = "strongly disagree." Notice that on this scale, high scores are associated with low levels of assertiveness.

datasets

Access to the datasets and many of the functions used in "Statistics Using R: An Integrative Approach". These datasets include a subset of the National Education Longitudinal Study, the Framingham Heart Study, as well as several simulated datasets used in the examples throughout the textbook. The functions included in the package reproduce some of the functionality of 'Stata' that is not directly available in 'R'.  The package also contains a tutorial on basic data frame management, including how to handle missing data.
