chars

(<code>character</code> of length 1) What to print before
<code>chars</code>, on the same line.

prefix

(<code>numeric</code> of length 1) The maximum number of
characters to print.

max_chars

(<code>"error"</code>, <code>"warning"</code>, <code>"message"</code>, <code>"cat"</code>, <code>"print"</code>, <code>"silent"</code>)

type

Prints the start and end values for a character vector. The number of values
printed depend on the width of the screen by default.

internal

Interacts with a suite of web 'APIs' for taxonomic tasks,
such as getting database specific taxonomic identifiers, verifying
species names, getting taxonomic hierarchies, fetching downstream and
upstream taxonomic names, getting taxonomic synonyms, converting
scientific to common names and vice versa, and more.
