character string containing a <a href="/link/regular%20expression?package=toaster&version=0.4.2" rd-options="" data-mini-rdoc="toaster::regular expression">regular expression</a> to be matched in the given table info.

pattern

connection object as returned by <code><a href="/link/odbcConnect?package=toaster&version=0.4.2" rd-options="" data-mini-rdoc="toaster::odbcConnect">odbcConnect</a></code>. Only used in combination with <code>tableName</code>.

channel

Aster table name to use. If missing then <code>tableInfo</code> will be used instead.

tableName

data frame obtained by calling <code><a href="/link/getTableSummary?package=toaster&version=0.4.2" rd-options="" data-mini-rdoc="toaster::getTableSummary">getTableSummary</a></code> or <code><a href="/link/sqlColumns?package=toaster&version=0.4.2" rd-options="" data-mini-rdoc="toaster::sqlColumns">sqlColumns</a></code>.

tableInfo

logical: if TRUE returns column names only, otherwise full rows of <code>tableInfo</code>.

names.only

if TRUE case is ignored during matching, otherwise matching is case sensitive.

ignore.case

logical. if TRUE return columns that do not match.
