uniques-vector


The uniques vector is an <code>integer</code> vector that is named by the unique sequence, and 
valued by the abundance of that sequence. This format is commonly used within the 
<code><a rd-options="" href="/link/dada2-package?package=dada2&version=1.0.3" data-mini-rdoc="dada2::dada2-package">dada2-package</a></code>, for function inputs and outputs. The <code><a rd-options="" href="/link/getUniques?package=dada2&version=1.0.3" data-mini-rdoc="dada2::getUniques">getUniques</a></code>
function coerces a variety of input objects into the uniques-vector format, including
<code><a rd-options="" href="/link/dada-class?package=dada2&version=1.0.3" data-mini-rdoc="dada2::dada-class">dada-class</a></code> and <code><a rd-options="" href="/link/derep-class?package=dada2&version=1.0.3" data-mini-rdoc="dada2::derep-class">derep-class</a></code> objects.


The dada2 package provides "OTU picking" functionality, but instead
of picking OTUs the DADA2 algorithm exactly infers samples sequences. The dada2
pipeline starts from demultiplexed fastq files, and outputs inferred sample
sequences and associated abundances after removing substitution and chimeric
errors. Taxonomic classification is also available via a native implementation
of the RDP classifier method.
